    Veterinary Assistant

    Tabatha started working at Hope in February 2018. She moved to Virginia in 2014 from Connecticut and is currently in school to be a veterinary technician. She has a Shih Tzu named Toto. She hopes to have a rescue farm one day!

    Faiz Ahmad

    Dr. Ahmad opened Hope Animal Hospital in February of 2012. He is a third-generation veterinarian, graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He has 15 years of experience specializing in small animal care.

  • Barbara Rodgers

    Barbara joined our team in April 2018. After retiring from a career in human medicine as a surgical coordinator, Barb went back to school to pursue her true passion in the veterinary field. She loves four-legged creatures of all kinds. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at the SPCA.

  • Valerie St. Romain
    Veterinary Assistant

    Valerie has been with us since 2018. She has a plethora of experience working with animals. She has been working in the veterinarian field for 17 years! At home, she has four dogs of her own and wants to save them all!
